OLD SHOOL
Old school dancehall is the roots of jamican dancehall culture reflecting the people and the history since the birth of dancehall in the late 1970’s. Dancehall culture was found through the life of the people representing the lifestyle through music, dance, fashion, language and everyday lifestyle of the people. The birth of Old School Dancehall began in the late 1970’s- 2000’s. Old school is also known as ‘BACK 2 BASICS’ holding the history of the history makers. MIDDLE SCHOOL
Middle school dancehall is the Era from late 2000’s, 2005-2010 introducing a new and more high energetic style to dancehall music and dance with the fashion and slangs to match. The music was more Flava Bringing dancehall artists like Elephant Man, Beanie Man, Voicemail, RDX and many more artists arose, singing songs with the dance moves to match for dancers to rave in parties on newly improved Instrumentals. NEW
New School dancehall began from 2012 to Present having the biggest change of all time from the Music, Fashion, Slanguage, Dance, Beats and instrumentals. Dancehall was then further reached on a global scale for its music and dance. Dancers and Artists began to tour to different parts of the world teaching and performing Dancehall Culture. Which started many foreigners to travel back to jamaica to learn, enjoy, experience and give back to the Jamaican Dancehall Culture.
